Default dumb grease question

so I am almost finished with ball joints and tie rods on 93 4.3 4x4 vortec when I find out the grease I have been using is valvoline 275degree grease ment for non disc brake bearings and I put it around the axel boot and hub bearing. So I am wondering, do I pull my hubs off and regrease everything with 375 degree grease for disc brakes or will I be fine just leaving it and saving myself the extra work?

so the answer to my question is, remove the hubs, clean them, and regrease with disc approved grease.

Yeah, sorry, I am sure that a lot of us are still quite busy with the holidays. Anyway, yes, I would recommend using the high temp grease. Disc brake rotors can cause a lot more heat in the hub than the older drum brakes.

No worries swart, your busy answering everyone elses questions because it seems like you know everything about blazers. I called a friend this morining before you had a chance to post, he talked me into pulling off the hubs and greasing with hig temp stuff. Now 1threadon the ball joint plate the caliper pin bolts tois stripped out, not my fault because I torque everything, must have happened when I was pulling the pin. I'm gonna helicoil it tommrow, should be fine butman would that suck if I had to take everying back apart! probably tear the boots with the pickle fork.
