Default At the end of my rope! :/

ok heres the story, ever since i bought my blazer ive had issues with the drivers side front or cv shaft axle seal, ive replaced it a few times myself along with a couple other small shops and each time i get the same result it lasts a couple hundred miles and it starts leaking oil bad, a couple times that its been replaced ive tried different brands of seals, cv shafts, and oils, but with no luck. it started leaking again recently after the sixth time (all with in 15000 miles) the seals been replaced now. the shops i took it to has measured the diff housing were the seal sits and they said its all good and straight, im thinking about just taking it to the dealership this time and telling them my past issues and having them try to fix it, but if anyone has any other ideas im open cause i just dont know what to do with it anymore.

Well.. your signature gives a hint, "2" torsion and shackle lift" Ill be willing to bet you went a little over 2 inches on the torsion bars because if you only went 2 inches your CV's shouldn't be going out that quick. But cranking the torsion bars puts a lot of extra stress on the CV's causing you to go through them quickly. Although you shouldnt be going through them THAT quickly with that lift.

Did this start happening right after you did the lift?

ive had problems w l side seal in these, now i buy the steel plate w the seal and sleve in it already, 30 at the dealer. the seal plate is thin, easy to distort when changing the seal

i need to change my signature, after the second time i replaced the seal i lowered the front end back to factory (note it was leaking and i replaced it before i lifted it to). but yet it still kept leaking for 4 new seals after. the cv shafts were not going out i was only replacing them to have a fresh riding surface for the seal.
