Question ****** Strap or Kinetic Rope??

Camping season is approaching and I think its time to retire some older equipment. I've always used ****** straps. But as I'm research I'm finding that more people are leaning toward kinetic ropes for their 30% stretch rates. Has anyone used one? They seem to be cheaper per foot and have higher weight ratings. Is there a catch?

Here are the ropes I'm looking at right now: CLICK ME

Also, what breaking strength should I be looking at? I'm thinking to recover my Blazer from mud shouldn't take more than 27k lbs at the very most. Input?

I've never used the ropes but as far as strength I use 20,000 to 30,000 lbs and haven't had any problems. I wouldn't go lower and anything higher would be overkill, IMHO.
