Default Fix, scrap, or turn into 5k pound go-cart?

Hi all,

I have a 2000 ZR2 4x4 my wife wrecked. She drove through a five foot ditch and jumped out the other side.

The vehicle runs good still and the trans is fine. Standing facing the engine, the left wheel is pushed back to nearly touching the wheel well.

I do my own automotive repairs, but this is beyond my meager experience. I took pics and can post as many as needed.

throw all that front suspension garbage away and slap some leaf springs along with a straight axle and enjoy. i bought my 93 as it was hit in the front and kinda messed up, perfect to bounce off trees with

Thanks for your reply. Is the procedure too difficult? Special tools needed?

they sell kits now to hang the leaf springs so im guessing it got much easier then when i did it like 10 years ago i had to make all the brackets to hang my front suspension.

i think it took me about 4 months working about 15 hours a week on it. in my case no special tools, cut off wheel, sawzall, and just basic tools.

just google "s10 sas swap" im sure you will find hundreds, thats pretty much what i did and just got ideas from other peoples builds
