Default Front Brake Conversion 1997 S-10

Hi
I'm interested in converting the front brakes on my
97 S-10 Blazer 4 door.
I have single piston calibers.
Would like to convert to two piston calibers.
What parts do I need to do this correct like factory.

Assuming your 4wd you will need the newer 98+ spindle, caliper bracket/caliper/pads and all related slides/bolts. The wheel bearings are also slightly different on the 98+ trucks, so you will need to get 98+ wheel bearings with newer style abs sensors and a set of dust shield/backing plates if you wish. The only thing I'm unsure of is if the brake hoses need to be swapped out to work with the newer dual piston calipers. Junkyard is your friend, ive also seen a lot of used stuff on eBay. GL

P.S. I have a set of 98+ backing plate dust shields in great shape if your interested. I bought them because i was going to switch over to the newer style abs sensor wheel bearings, then when i took everything all apart i found out the newer style bearings wouldn't work with my single piston spindles.

Looks like to need to strip the whole front brakes off a donor.
I should get the power brake booster and master cylinder.
Should I get the ABS unit from a dual piston donor.

I know the abs unit definitely will not interchange between years. Im unsure whether the master/booster will or not. I probably wouldn't bother unless there is something wrong with the unit on your truck. Im pretty sure they only changed when they switched to 4 wheel disc brakes on the 98+ anyways.
