Default Front Carrier bracket mount

Hey I have heard but can't find pictures that some people have cut the lower bracket for mounting their front differential/carrier.

Does any have a link or photos of how someone has done it?

I have to change my front timing cover so to do the oil pan the front diff has to come out.

Are you talking about cutting it for a 2.5 lift?

if so, I'm sure if you search a 2.5 rough country lift kit instructions, there's a diagram and such to cut it..

No, to make easier to remove the diff and reinstall.

I did it on a Suburban once. It was pretty obvious what was keeping the diff from dropping down, so I chopped it with a Sawzall and welded it back in place after I put the diff back in. I'm guessing your Blazer is similar.
