Front Diff Seals
Well I drove to work and my front drivers side is leaking so bad I'm not going to drive it until it's fixed.
2000 Blazer ZR2
There is a little play where the cv's come out of the axle housing- is this normal? Or is this what caused the seals to wear and leak?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks

There should be next to no up/down/front/back play where the CV shaft enters the front axle on either side. If there is play, the bearing inside has failed.
BTW, please include your vehicle information in your post, or better yet in your signature or create a garage which will put the details under your screen name.

Do you think the front Differential will need to be pulled apart?
I'm also assuming the CV joints are bad- right?
I see #4 for the passenger side. I don't see the bearing for the drivers...
Thanks a million for your help-
