Default Front driver wheel leans out at top

I've had a few clicks clunks and pops on a zr2 i bought recently. When i do jerky hard stops to look at wheel, it pops out about 1/2 an inch or so (max) and clicks and clunks when i steer at low speeds. Not certain if its upper ball joint or tie rod. Assuming steering is tight, (no play in steering wheel) should i start with replacing idler arms and tie rods? All 4 tie rods? I want to replace most of steering parts from the core so to speak so i dont have to do it for quite some time. Im gonna replace ball joints as well. Ive also seen an idler arm upgrade, stronger than oem. Does this affect oem steering components? Thanks guys!

I think you need to jack up the front end and start wiggling things to see what the problem may be

So someone convinced me it was bad cv axle. Quite a job!! I replaced the cv axle on driver's side last weekend. (And lower ball joint, pickle fork tore boot on dissassembly) old cv axle looks and feels fine. No torn boots or anything. ...truck had this click and clunk before the cv axle replacement.

I have wiggled stuff, not intensely, but it 'seemed tight' lol. I have receipts from the seller for all 4 ball joints replaced fairly recently. But who knows! So wiggling/wrenching on stuff with my arms good enough? I cant see much twitching with the naked eye on dry steering.

Google/YouTube the suspension components and how to test. Easier to learn that way that and less typing for me! It could very well be the cv joint making noise....
It sounds like you have had the front end apart at least once already lately. Did you use good parts? Get everything torqued back into place properly? Have it aligned afterward?
If you have a lot of miles on your vehicle and your front end is failing one piece at a time, it's less work to tear it down once and replace the bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, cv joints and seals, sway bar links, pitman and idler arms, etc... Yep more money at once, but time is money! And this way you only bust up your knuckles once too!!. I suggest wearing gloves...
