Front End Alignment/Wheel Bearing Issue

I had the wheel bearing on the driver side done about 2-3 months ago and when I got my truck back the steering wheel had to be cocked to the left in order to drive straight. I figured this may be due to the front end needing an alignment so I brought it in for that and it still has to be cocked to the left in order to drive straight. When I asked the mechanic why, he just replied that it was due to the truck being old and and that there was no hope. This does not make sense to me and I am afraid I am doing more damage by driving it like this. Anyone experienced anything like this before and is there possible hope of getting it fixed somehow? The truck also still pulls to the right afer the alignment ( like it never had an alignment to begin with)

Thats crap. Lazy mechanic. Jack it in the air. Grab the tire with both hands and wiggle it. If it moves around, it could be upper or lower a arms or the hub. Then have your toe adjusted. I bet whoever did the hub broke something

Well I found out what the problem was and thankfully it was a simple fix. Come to find out, all that needed to be done was a rotation of the tires and it only cost me $20!! I am so relieved that there is nothing wrong with the front end or ball joint, that the truck is safe to drive.

If a tire rotation fixed your problem, you should look into what is wrong with your tires. Are they the same size on both sides? Is one newer than the other and has more tread?
