Default Front end "hops" when turning at full lock, low speed

My front differential isn't locked, it's a 4wd 4dr 2000 blazer with many problems. One thing I notice is that it is starting to creak on the driver side, kind of like on the passenger side before I replaced the control arm bushings; it is only noticeable at low speeds like backing out of a driveway. Could the control arms be binding up and cause the wheel to stort of jump at low speeds? The cv axles look like they're in good shape: no tears or grease dripping out. But I could have installed it wrong when I replaced the driver side axle seal. Any suggestions?
