Default Frustrating Front shock replacement

I need help with tips / tools to get out them damn front bolts on the shocks there so rusted that 5 1/2 hours of hammer smashing and busted knuckles and 2 cans of PB blast them freaking bolts will not nudge.

And also after letting PB blast soak for 2 hours i messed with the rear and the top half *** nut or what ever you call it snapped and just spins in circle's with the bolt and even with vise grips to hold it still it just ends up slipping off but then decided to keep the rears on since there still ok and are Air hose adjustable.
But anyways any tips for them front bolts will be great

Thanks, Cav

I've used a big "C" clamp on tough bolts with a socket over the head of the bolt. Hose it down with penetrant and tighten as tight as you can get it then have a good nights skeep, You only have to move it just a hair before it is actually loose.
If you're the impatient type get out the torch. Even a Bernz-O-Matic propane torch will put out enough heat (eventually) to turn it red. When it does go to wailing on it. I prefer the "C" clamp method. Lot less blood involved.

Don't have any pics yet but it's legal. Still have to change the right fender. I'm most proud of my 97 console installation. Cost me $50.00 + painting it (including the brackets). Had to pull it myself which was OK because I got everything with it and saw how it went together. Looks like it came with the truck. If you want to know what I've done so far go to the "What have you done on your Blazer today" post. I probably didn't get all of the stuff but most. It is actually pretty stock. I just had to fix EVERYTHING on it. After the fender the front suspension is next. Will try to get some pics up soon. Real resurrection - brought it back from the dead.
OH, one more thing. When I said big "C" clamp I mean as big as you can fit in there. Not a 3 or 4 inch one.
