Default grinding noise on front left wheel

i have a grinding and clicking noise coming from the front left wheel. i suspected it was the bearings. when i pulled the tire off, both the inner and outer bearings were shot. i replaced both thinking that would solve my problem, but i was wrong. the grinding and clicking is still there. everything looks to be in good shape. what could this be? thanks for any help.

i know this might seem obvious but i will ask.

did you inspect the brake pad and rotors?
was the spindle damaged by the old bearings at all?
any part of the old bearings missing and maybe not cleaned out before new ones went in?

did you try rotating the wheel with it jacked up to maybe pin point it better?
