Default help with front end

if anyone could tell me what the problem is it would help alot. i have a 1998 4x4. theres a noise coming from the front passenger side. the only time it make a noise is when i completely turn the steering wheel all the way to the right. i can drive it normally and it makes no noise. it sounds like a wheel bearing or ball joint but like i said its only when i totally lock the steering wheel all the way to the right. it does not make the noise when i turn corners or anything or drive it regularly.

It would help considerably if you could describe the noise.

is the noise a clunk when sitting still (possible ball joint) or is it a rotational noise when moving at full lock (cv axle shaft binding)??

its a scrapping or humming noise. when turning the noise isnt constant, more like a rhythmic sound that increases if i would go faster turning real tight with the steering wheel locked out.

i would say it is a cv joint or wheel bearing. since it only happens at full lock (when most stress is applied) i would check my cv joints first . have you checked it in 4wd ?
