I am building a part and hoping for information about the splined shafts that mate with the 2002-2009 Chevrolet Trailblazer 4WD front axle disconnect actuator.
Is it possible to get a Photo of the output on the CV perpendicular to the CV input shaft to assess the CV cup shaft length when plugged into the actuator? With the hope some machining could be done to adapt the parts to the required application?
The best I have been able to find is a very pixelated small photo that is isometric not giving any helpful information.
If possible could anyone give me caliper derived dimensions for the 5 different diameter sections of the “Intermediate Shaft”?
Hoping to utilize the actuator for an engagement/disengagement device and hoping to find a few CV cups and an intermediate shafts to test if the assembly can work if adapted correctly .
Possible anyone has some takeoffs to get the splined shafts, even broken CVs that have good cups/splines available that are circled below?
Maybe even a few front axle intermediate shafts a person could pick up locally close to Portland Oregon, or maybe someone would be willing to ship those parts and help a random on the net with a project?
If anyone would be willing to help me gather a little information to see if these parts might be suitable, would Really appreciate it!
Thanks for any help!
