Help!! Steering issue
After replacing the gear box, and pitman arm I was told thy I cannot align the truck because the inner and outer tie rod on driver side is touching in the sleeve.. What do I need to do to make sure that the steering shaft is in the proper teeth position?!

thats weird. i wonder if they screwed up the clocking on the gear box or the pitman arm. you usually cant screw it up, the notches are usually 90 degrees off so if you put it on right it should be facing straight back. if you put it on one notch off it would be facing straight on the side.
its possible something like that can happen, id say about half the time we put a pitman arm on the wheel is a little bit off when it was straight before. also ive put rack and pinions in cars where the notch was 180 degrees off. so if you have the old gear box and pitman arm laying around maybe center them and see if they are exactly the same.
