My diff. is toast. I have searched the forums, but my entries are incorrect or there is no info available.
I am trying to find out which other S-10, S-15 rear ends, from drum-to-drum, are interchangable with the one in my 1991 S-10.
My S-10 is a 1991 4 door, w/4X4, 4.3 liter V-6, Auto trans.
Any help or links would be immensly appreciated.

Just add S-10 to the subject line

According to Car-Part.com, anything from 83-92 in a 4wd s-series vehicle with a matching gear ratio.

I thank you sir for your response. I will check the link and also the #'s on the axle shaft. Fortunately I bought a shop manual when I aquired the Blazer, so I should be able to figure out the correct gear ratios. The wrecking yards here in Ca. want anywhere from $350 to $500 for differentials, but I have found a couple of privately owned mid-80's S-10's for under $300...complete!
Time to go to get busy!
Best regards,
Bruce
