Need info on what engine is interchangable with My 99 S10 Blazer 4x4

O.k I have a Question I have a 99 S10 Blazer LS with orignal engine in it but just found out engine is going in it and I will be replacing it but I want to put alittle sponk under the hood I was thinking of putting a V-8 in it but dont know what will be interchangable with what I have in it now. Please any help i would be greatful

this question im pretty sure has been answered before i dont know about the trans, but for a 350 v8 swap you will need

a 350 engine (whats years idk)
wiring harness
custom mounts? (correct me if im wrong)

again correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure a 350 will not bolt straight up, and you will need like i said to redo the wiring harness, use the search button because it will give you alot more info than i can, other members with the 350 swap can as well
