Ranchos aren't bad. I've heard lots of good things about the RS9000s but they're pretty expensive.

Does anyone know the compressed and extended sizes for BILSTEIN 24014120? I can't find it anywhere.

Went ahead and ordered a four pack of Bilstein ZR2 shocks for $320 after taxes. I'll report back on if they fit with the RC lift. Hopefully in a week or two. Right now I'm waiting on General Springs to get back to me on a pair for my truck as I know nothing about leaf springs.

Does it say the extended length of the shocks?

No, I still couldn't find that but I'm taking the chance they'll fit since the ZR2 factory lift and my lift are about the same.

Ok, the reason why I asked, I have a set of shocks I'm told are zr2 shocks, bought new from the store. They are 18" at full length, and the rc ones are 21" at full length. Those are for the front shock absorbers. So I'm wondering if it was a mistake...

What I got were Bilstein B6 4600 24-014120s for the front and 24-018197s for the rear.

I have a set of the General Spring leafs for my ZR2 and they are big improvement over my sagging stock ones. They sit about an inch higher and since I am local I drove my fat *** out and picked them up. No shipping that way.

I was reading up on this site, between the differences of the 4600 and the 5100 blistein shocks. And found that they say they 5100 are learned more to the lifted/bigger tires ride, compared to the 4600 which is the oem/hwy preferred ride. I got a message in asking for a part number for the lifted blazer, as they say the 5100 are leaned towards the lifted offroaders... we will see.

2001ZR2,

Yes I contacted GS for which springs would go on my truck since I don't know. I don't have a ZR2 though so I don't think ours would take the same.

DonL,

The 4600s are the OEM for the ZR2s which have the same lift, but from the factory, that I have. The B6 version which I got is meant for off roading and highway.

The only place I could find with 5100s were 4Wheelparts.com and they supposedly can customize shocks to your ride but they never got back to me about doing it for a lifted Blazer. Worst comes to worst, I have a 90 day return window on the 4600s so I can get my money back and see if 4WP can do the 5100s for me.
