Default leafs question

hello!

my blazer k5, 90, 5.7l has a nice and round set of leafs in the back, but on the front side the leafs are practically straight. and still the truck is even in height, how is it right? if at all?

I'm pretty sure how that is supposed to be. I know on my cousin's f250 the leafs on the front are even bent down a little

I'm about to purchase a new set of shocks, and if the front leafs are bent wrong and the need to be fixed, therefore they'll get higher and i want to make sure in order to get the right measurement for the shocks.
so, first of all thanks for the reply and if anyone else have anything to add it will only help.
