Left turn squeak - rear suspension
Over the past few days I have been hearing a squeaking noise that seems to be coming from the rear of the vehicle, and sounds more like its coming from the driver side. It only happens when i am making left turns. I can not recreate it even if i violently shake the truck in any direction while it is standing still. The truck has 120,000 miles on it, and i am unaware of anything that has been changed in the rear other than the shocks were replaced with monroes, and im not sure how long ago. Any ideas of what to check or lubricate are welcome. Thanks!
Have you taken a look at the rear brakes? I had the same issue with squeaking and was really annoying. Did a rear brake job and had a seized caliper and one of the bolts on the capiper bracked was seized too. New caliper, caliper braket, new lubed slide bolts problem solved.
