lifting / leveling question for 2001 2 door blazer.
I have a 2001 4 wheel drive 2 door blazer. I REALLY envy the zr2 suspension. I was wondering what it would take to convert my traditional suspension to the zr2's as close as possible.
I dont go off-roading so its only a means of look. I just want to add beefier and wider tires that will be able to clear the wheel wells. I dont want to jack my truck up like crazy either so the Zr2 height (whatever it may be) is what I am looking for.
Any suggestions? thanks.

2 things:
look in lifting tech for lifting options. even though you say you dont want to lift, you aslo made a thread to ask how to get the lifted suspension of a Zr2
also try this link for tons of how-tos
best way to convert to zr2 is to trade your truck in for a Z. Z's usually run a bit more to the tune of the original ZR2 package price... It's a stretch but safe to assume that the package never seems to depreciate
Anyway, buy a Z if you want a Z. I want a Z and just live with the feeling of inferiority.
you can see all of the Z-swappable parts in the link above.

yea zr2's suspensions are actually quite different than regular blazers. zr2's don't even have the same rear axle as regular blazers. the shape of the frame and where components mount to are also different. if you are trying to fit 31's you can do a 2" lift and slap some on. It will resemble a zr2 but its still not
