Loose stearing

Default Loose stearing

I was wondering, i have a '94 blazer 2 door. My brother was in it one day and said that my stering was loose. How do i fix this?

adjust your steering box there should be a adjustment screw on it to adjust it i believe to tighten it up

If that is in fact the problem. And it isn't as simple as adjusting a screw to tighten up the factory steering box. Too tight and you'll be looking at a new box in short order.

With many, many vehicles, it is a worn or failed component in the steering that is the cause. We have had a few threads on the subject of what to check in the steering. These include tierod ends, the idler arm, and the pitman arm.

and the adjusting anthing on the steeing box is the extreme last thing you want to do.
