loud noise and vibrating...
I have a 89 s-10 Blazer 4x4 and when I drive it and get about 40mph it starts vibrating and making a noise that sounds like a can in a bike tire. I was told it was the rear end. I put a new one in and still does the same thing. Anyone know what it could be.
Could be the transmission. When it starts doing it, put it in neutral and coast at the same speed. If it keeps making the noise, it's not the transmission, if the noise stops...it's the trans. Let us know what happens.
Thank you for the reply. I have tried that and it still make the same noise and vibrating. I asked a friend and he said it could be the hub bearings. I know they might need changing anyways I might have to do that. But right now i am in Iraq (Army) and will have to get on it when I go home on R&R. But I am open to anything on what it might be. Thanx
