Default Lower control arm, help needed

so i found a nice junkyard with quite a few blazers in it. I was looking for the lower control arm. Mine has snapped at the bracket that mounts to the stabilizer bar. When i went to buy it at this junkyard, they pull it btw, they told me that i need to bring my part in to match becuase there are 3 different control arms available in s10s. I saw a red s10/sonoma that had the part htat looks just like mine. The guy told me it wouldnt work cuz i have a 1999 blazer, and that one was a 2000. so whats the difference between the 3 options? how do i know it works on my blazer?

Based on rock auto low lower control arms should be the same from these years of blazers.
2wd 83-05
4x4 84-05
4x4 Zr2 95-2000

Check Partsgeek.com for new lower arms. Last I looked they seemed somewhat inexpensive for new ones. I think like $50-$60. Good luck Edit:nevermind those are all upper arms for that price Oops.

i want to buy a new one but theres one thing stopping me. Everytime i find the part online, the picture on the website doesnt show the little bracket/flange that holds the stabilizer bar. The junkyard wanted $100 for the part, and they pull it. But for that price im thinking maybe just buy it online, if i can make sure the little flange for the stabilizer bar is attached, seeing as thats the only broken part on my current control arm.

I was kind of in your shoes with a Dakota. Then I realized that the pics they were putting up had the new control arm upside down in one pic...and in another case they were using one generic pic for several different control arms. Ended up going to junkyard anyway. I think I paid about $50 and they pulled it. If you want a brand new one, call the place and talk to them about it. Don't rely only on the pic only...it may be just a one-size-fits-all pic.

Now that you mention it, you might be completely right. Thats actually a brilliant idea. Ill find a reputable parts source and call em up. Before i search, is there any parts source any one recommends??
