Lower front shock bolt

Lower front shock bolt
The front passenger side shock was replaced but it seems as if the lower bolt is small. There is a little bit of play when I move the shock around.
Here is what I need to know:
What is the bolt size that is used?
Are there bushing that needs to be replaced between the shock and the control arm that it attaches to?
Thanks for all the help

There's a bushing in the end of the shock where the bolt goes thru, but besides that there isn't a bushing between the shock and the lower control arm. But then again...I have no idea what kind of vehicle, year, etc you're referring to.

Mines 2nd Gen. But if this info helps anyone.:
Front lower shock bolts are... Gr 8 met 12mm wide x 1.75mm spacing x 75mm long, according to the GM Parts dude. Strange, mine say 9.8......and I still rounded the corners a bit, using a 6pt socket. I still can't get it off. I've KYB Mono's to put on...ughh.

By the way...... got it off. I put epoxy in the end of an impact socket (cleaned bolt head with solvent first). Then clamped the socket over the bolt for 24hrs. Used my breaker bar.....and it worked! Kept the socket from starting to slide off, and actually got the damn thing off.... after three days trying. I was using a 6pt socket at first and it still would slip off and rounded the corners. Even salvaged the impact socket by chipping the epoxy out with a flathead screwdriver. And the middle threads of the bolt got messed; managed to "fix" that, too. By putting it in Visegrips, dousing it in silicone Liquid Wrench, then sticking it over the edge of the curb, standing on the grips...... and just reaming the nut back on with my socket wrench. After about three times on and off, the nut would go on without much difficulty. So was able to use the same bolt. I put it back, on the top side this time. KYB MONO MAX's! #¥{& YEAH!
