I didn't think it was bad to do 75 but now I will watch my speed while in 4wd. See this is what I'm saying, I'm new to 4wd so any tips you guys might have, please share them. Oh and spectre, is that your blazer in the picture? Cuz that thing looks like what mine will look like in about a year from now. Hopefully sooner if I can get me a job that pays per diem. Also I have another question since we were talking bout going fast and stuff, what is the best computer program for the 4.3? I would like to do everything I can to get better gas mileage and horsepower without doing a 5 grand engine over haul. But trust me, if I had that kind of money, I will spend it in a heart beat with a turbo setup that way I will be able to float across the mud haha. And please don't get me started on NObama. I bet you guys didn't know they made a dollar bill for him..

if that is going to be the food stamp joke you may want to re-think posting it. this is a PG-13 forum and "off color" jokes have caused problems in the past....

if you have a 4 button set up (dont remember) you can switch to 4Auto (AWD as needed) and still baja around, but you will loose a bit of fuel economy as it will take a bit more juice to get the same speed with the front getting more power.

as for a program, you can do the out of the box jobs, but look into "wait4me" tune and "pcm4less" tune. a few members have used them and all have rave reviews
a custom tune like that will be much MUCH better as you can get it customized to your EXACT specs (all applicable mods) instead of the pre-generated tunes in the auto tuners.

search it up

oh last thing, that pic in Spectre's avatar is not his Blazer. It's mine

Wow...you really don't know anything about your truck do you?
First of all, let me start by saying the Obama comment has no place in this thread. Why would you even mention anything about politics?
Secondly a Turbo setup is just a dumb idea with a 4x4. If you used a turbo setup for off roading you wouldn't "float" across the mud. You spin and spin and dig right in and can't get out. You must also not know anything about off roading or else you'd know that you don't need a lot of power. You need a good 4x4 system and going slow is normally the key to not breaking your truck and making it through a lot of places you'd never think you could.
I suggest learning more about your vehicle. If you continue to pull the stupid stuff you have been you'd going to either A/ ruin your truck or B/ cause an accident harming other people. Grow up.
Sorry, hate to be a dick but I hate it when 16 yr olds come here talking about how fast they go and how stupid they drive. Grow up, you're going to kill someone. Yes, we all have our fun moments as teens (hell, even in my 20's I still do stupid stuff every once and a while) but I do it in controlled environments like a drag strip. Bottom line. Stop driving like an idiot.

Wow Sisk.

He's here to learn. At 17 I didn't know my *** from a hole in the ground and I punished my Nova for it.

Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

We have had plenty of "excentric" characters show up. Most go from young and dumb, to young and grasping a bit of blazer knowledge. Others just dissapear (remember this douche nozzle?)
Either way, maybe a touch less direct

he doesnt know anything about his car OR 4WD (offroading specificly) as he stated in the begining. He'll pick up on stuff, leave us and not learn anything, or die in a firey accident. Either way saying he's dumb for wanting to put race car crap to the test off road isn't going to help much

everyones different growing up . as far as how reckless they go and if they hurt other people in the process is where you learn to mature. as far for the guy that goes 75mph in 4wd. what annoys the guys on here including me is when they try to give you helpful advice and you blow them off and tell them their wrong. ask your questions and be polite (people that are nice to other people usually get their questions asked..hint...hint) ask away and try to learn in the process

Alex, I have to disagree with your statement about power offroad...

If you have the tires to support the power, more power == better.

A turbo might not be too good offroad though as hot turbo + cold water = problems, but there are ways to keep that from happening.
