I'm shouting out a big thanks to Peru Motors & swartlkk for their helpful advice on this forum. I had a non-functioning NV 246 Autotrac (Auto 4W) on my Blazer - they kept me from wasting my time searching for a non-existent 3-hose vacuum assembly & TC-Switch and digging out my battery to test the acuator.

I located the solenoid on the firewall, and upon inspection found a broken hose going to the actuator. It was a little tricky, since the hose fell off and was out of sight, and the solenoid isn't an obvious part of the 4WD system (it is now!) Wow what a great feeling fixing something for a dime that would have cost possible $$ at a shop. Not to mention we now have 4x4 for the beach sand and boat ramps.

Again thanks, guys. I'll pay it forward with a post about radiator replacement that might save someone time, $$ and leaking tranny fluid soon.
