Default Is my lifted blazer suppose to do this?

I just bought a 1997 chevy blazer 2 door lifted 3 inches with aftermarket rims and tires. i dont know much about the truck the guys sending me a list of everything done to it tomorrow. anyways, is seems lopsided or somthing and it has really bad steering, is this normal? thanks guys by the way im new to this site today!

If its lopsided,could be torsion bars are out of alignment/uneven. not too big of a deal,get the steering fixed 1st.

define EXACTLY what you mean as in bad steering? whats it doing.

The "Rag-Joint" at the steering box is known for wearing out.


I know a lot of people change it to a universal style and even retro-fit a jeep column in place of it too.

well i forgot to mention before, the steering when it should be strait with the chevy sign on the wheel looking right side up, it goes to the right a little and if u turn it a little to the left like left to right, up and down then its straight. what do you think? and ok thanks man ill look. by the way i got the truck for $1000 so i dont expect everything to be perfect. its my first truck also.

Is your steering column loose? Are yo able to move the wheel up and down without unlocking the steering wheel height adjustment?

no it doesnt move at all, its just not on right i guess? and it doesnt turn all the way right as it does left it still turns fine but i get more turning on the left then right

my steering column is loose and has a ****load of play, but I'm so used to it by now that it doesn't bug me. in fact, my roommate'a Bronco with a tight column bugs me because it's more responsive to steering input.
