Rough Country's kit is only $430, it came with everything you need for great CV angles It rides great! I fit the biggest tires I could which are 31x10.5 so the bigger tires do make the truck want to go left and right when its really windy outside but handling is still great since its only a 2.5" lift. speed is off 5mph at 60mph but thats fine I know to go 5 less. You can also get a PCM tune to fix that. They arent too spendy. I havent needed to yet though. heres a pic !

I've got 33s on my Blazer... did have to trim the fender wells though.

hey guys w the 33s howd you fit them? my 31s rub even after trimming. do you have less backspacing? i have 4.5" backspacing so my wheels stick way out probably 2" out past the flares.

thanks man glad you saw my truck on google thats cool!

where about's are you rubbing? i am pretty sure i got stock backspacing on my rim's. I did buy 1.5 hubcentric's wheel spacer's so now i wont even rub the frame on a full lock.

here's a pic so you can kinda see how much i cut out
I dont rub anywhere, I cut the fender to the max at the back so its flush with the wheel well. I am still gonna put i nice cover moulding on to hide all my hack and slashin'. You got a minty looking Jimmy btw

as far as 2" of lift and your not sure...i would do the torsion bar crank 1.5 inches and add some rear 2" lift shackles on the rear. that lift would cost you around 100.00
so either way your not out to much cash.
the body lifts normally run from 200-300.
as far as the body gaps...i and a couple others around here use some rubber mats or semi trailer mud flaps to make some guards...again not to pricey.

as far as the body lift not alot of things need to change at all...check out the pdf

hope that helps.
That's if you plan to run 31s... If you decide to run 33s, a lil fender trimming, and longer upper controls arms to fix camber issues will be needed. That may even be the case on 31s. For sure on the 33s

Offset rims work nice as well.

Alright so I checked out Rough Country's 2.5" lift they have.
Their website says that it fits 1983-2005 chevy s-10 blazers and 1983-2001 GMC S-15 Jimmy's.

I own a 2005 gmc jimmy ( Canada ). Is a 2005 gmc jimmy not the exact same truck as 2005
Blazer with different badges?
Would this kit fit on a 2005 jimmy 4x4 2 door?
