Take a look at the bushings for the torsion bar crossmember.

The bars should be fine. Follow them back to the torsion keys. The torsion keys are supported inside a crossmember. The crossmember is supported by a bushing on each side to the frame. You should be able to tell what shape the bushings are in by looking at them.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe you can only get replacement bushings made from rubber, as I have not seen them from ES or any other aftermarket manufacturer. If someone else knows where to get poly bushings, please chime in! I believe you can get them from Rock Auto, GM Direct, dealership, etc. No clue on the cost, though. I wouldn't imagine they would run too much.

There is a specialty tool required to relieve the tension on the tbars, though you can fashion one up using a c-clamp. Others have used various other means/tools. Do a search and you should be able to find more on how to remove the keys.
