Hey guys has anyone ever just removed there power steering cooler when they start leaking? Mine has a small leak and I could fix it by cutting the line back and just reinstalling the rubber hose, but I also made a custom battery tray to install my second battery and the lines are right in the way. I kno the purpose of the cooler but have seen other s10s that just don't have one at all so my guess is its not a need to have thing. My full size or any other chevy I've seen doesn't have em either so I was curious anyone else's experiences with taking them off. I don't have big tires and plan on never running over 31s so I doubt ill over heat the pump or anything.

 

I don't think it will be and issue. Might want to change the fluid a little more often if under more strenuous conditions.
