Question premature front brake wear and bad shocks

I've heard lots of complaints about premature front brake wear, on blazers. Could this be because everybody is driving around on worn shocks, or is there a different issue? I would think if you do a nose dive every time you stop that the front brakes would be doing most of the work.

if the front pads are wearing equally inboard VS outboard then I would look to the rears

If the pads are wearing more outboard than inboard then you need to look at the slider pins in the caliper and that the pads can travel freely in the caliper bracket
