Default question about shock sizes

i was wondering if you could get an inch or 2 of lift by putting larger shocks on all 4 corners on a '94 gmc jimmy? i believe s10's are suppose to have nitro 8000 series shocks. but if you were to use say the larger silverado shocks instead, would that work? idk hope that makes sense

Been asked before. Shocks do not give you lift unless you are using air shocks or coil over (overload) shocks. Using other shocks not made for your truck, you may bottom out the shock prematurely causing damage to the suspension.
