Default RC 2.5" Lift Questions

Hey guys, i have a 97 s10 blazer 4dr 4x4. I am not trying to push it to the max on tires, just want some extra clearance for these rocky mountain trails in CO. ive heard good and bad about the rough country 2.5" lift. i am pretty close to ordering because i keep hearing that it wont wear my shocks/ball joints down. Just wondering if there are any serious problems with this kit before i put down the dough. Id appreciate some input, please :-D

I moved your thread to this section because you are inquiring about future maintenance with this particular lift. The Forum Help & Suggestion section is for forum related posts

I'm glad you like it, I'm leaning closer to it every day. Still gotta save up a bit longer, but that's bills for ya. Thanks for your prompt reply.

I don't think my Blazer was 'good' at 155kph off the showroom floor!

I have the RC lift, an add a leaf and a 2in body (will be on 32's). It really depends if you are going to install it yourself, I did not, and its costing me an arm and a leg for the install because my truck is SO rusted underneath (long story). No rust on outside though. Also, what rims you have. The rims matter cuz my stock rims rub on my upper control arms a bit, so I either have to get spacers for the front OR different rims (which I don't wanna do $$) I have a few other issues with RC too I've had. but feel free to message me if you have any further questions. Thanks and good luck.
