I was able to get the torque value right at 26 inch pounds. (I did set pinion depth, backlash and checked gear tooth pattern)
I just put a spool with new gears and bearings in my S10 after breaking the spider gears in my 8.5" Eaton disc-type Posi at the drag strip with my new trans brake. Even those somewhat larger ring gear rears are far from bullet proof. Flying pieces dinged up the ring and pinion. Going back to gether I went with a solid spacer/shim arrangement that you can buy, instead of a crush sleeve for the pinion. Have to disassemble and reassemble with shims in increments of 0.002" to get desired preload, but no 400 ft.lb torque or pinion holder to crush the sleeve. You must have one heckuva impact wrench!! My setup at home would never do enough to crush a sleeve!

Do this when you make some real power and they explode! Not good rear ends for people who like to spin their tires to impress their friends.
Should be good for me since my AWD Bravada only makes 190hp.

Got everything back together and put around 100 miles on the car. Working great! No vibrations either.
