Default Rear diff problem - help needed

Hi

I have problem with my Blazer rear diff now. Diff was replaced some years agon after original one was broken. Only one option here in Poland was to find used one with G80 locker option but with the same ratio as original one what was without G80.

Now they have said there is oil leaking into brakes and right shaft can move 5mm in-out off the diff what is extremely bad.

The problem is there are no US Chevy specialist here and nobody wants to repair the diff even if I buy complete repair kit. They do not know how to put everything properly, the have no knowledge neither tools. They even are not sure how to remove axle from the diff.

What I can do is to buy all diff in the US and just give it them to mount as is - but I have no idea where I can buy one with good condition ready to simple install.
Another idea is to replace GM diff with Dana. Dana is quite popular (as Jeeps) here in Poland and they know it very well. I have read that Dana 30 is very simple to repair.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Regards, Marcin

ive never really seen excessive in and out movement on axle shafts. there will always be some as they are held in by c-clips. also the fluid leaking onto the brakes is no big deal as you should replace those seals anyways.

but its really hard to tell without looking at it. if those outer axle bearings are shot that might cause a lot of up and down movement

i really dont know much about the dana30, but if its the same width and bolt pattern you can get it to work. i put a dana 44 in the back of my 93 s10 out of a full sized truck but had to cut and move both the spring perches and shock mounts
