Recommendation for Front axles (driveshafts) for 2" lifted 1999 Blazer
Hi all,
I would like to know people's recommendations for replacement front axles/drive-shafts for a 1999 4dr/4wd IFS LT Blazer with a ~2" suspension lift.
I've heard some good comments about the NAPA driveshafts (new not re-manufactured).
Specifically, I would like to have the cv boots be of the highest quality and be able to accommodate the greater angles at the cv joints due to the suspension lift.
Related question: What CV boot materials are the best?
I do not treat my truck very roughly, using it to tow a boat and for hunting in the woods of north Idaho. I seldom go off the dirt, forest service, or farm roads. In other words, when I'm in the woods I'm not out to try to break my truck. LOL
Thanks,
Chrsitine
P.S. Technical: 30/9.5R15 tires, longer rear shackles, Rough Country upper control arms, torsion bar lift, Rough Country IFS modification NOT used.
