Replace left front axle bearing

Replace left front axle bearing
Hello
I'm new to this forum, but will start with a nasty problem right away...
Have a 95 blazer for about 6 years now
Recently, I had a little problem with my CV shaft, and detected the problem to be the bearing on the left axle.
Removed the front differential, and then removed the cover with the seal.
Found a nut above the bearing, but I only can turn it about 2-3mm out, and the it locks.....
Turn right is only for tensioning the bearing.
The haynes manual doesn't mention it...
Somebody that can help me?
grtz, D
