Question replacing cv axles

i have a 2000 LT with the 2 inch rough country lift (i know, it was a waste of money and i could have achieved the same results from just cranking the t bars) but i need to replace the cv axles. my question is can i use cv axles from a 2000 zr2 as replacements, and if i can would it cut down on the amount of wear since they are a little longer than the LT, or should i just replace them with the standard LT axles.
