89 s10 tranfer case input bearing retainer where do i find this part alot for the jeep will it work on mine

The first place I would look is a transmission shop or a junkyard. I would stick with a GM donor to be on the safe side. I just replaced the seal in mine. Recommend replacing the seal before installing the T-case.
The reason I'm posting is to make sure it's oriented correctly when you install it. There may be an oil hole between the top two bolt holes in the case and a divot in the retainer to oil the bearing. If the retainer is clocked wrong when installed, it will block off that oil port. Sorry if I'm repeating something you already know.
