Seized rear brake caliper

Default Seized rear brake caliper

thanks guys, so the caliper was def seized, i got a new one. I put it on but when i attached line (the square box thing) it leaks. i tried to get it as tight as i can but it leaks from right by that box thing. doesnt look stripped. new caliper came with 2 little washers, do i need one on inside and one on outside? i am so desperate this sucks

Default RE: Seized rear brake caliper

Yes, you have to use one copper washer between the caliper and the banjo fitting, then another between the banjo fitting and the banjo bolt. You also need to make sure that there is not dirt or gouges in the sealing surfaces before putting things together.
