Default Steering stabilizer question

Why is it that the 87' S-10 Blazers have the steering stabilizer and the 91' S-10 Blazers dont have steering stabilizers? If i take the center link from a 91' that doesnt have a stabilizer and put it into my 87' will that make a difference?

Your steering stabilizer maybe part of a suspention package. Like the 96's dont have one but the 96 zr2s do. It would probly help for off roadin.
