STUCK IN 4-LOW-Sank in a waterhole
Hi. I have a 2001 Blazer LS 4x4 with the 3 button transfercase. I use this site often to look for info and i have always got the answer i needed. I was offroading and sank into a waterhole that was deeper than i thought. Submerged the truck up to about an inch above the speaker grills. Got it out finally, no water in the motor or anything. It is now Stuck in 4 Low. the tccm was probably submerged underwater for about 5 hours. I disconnected the vaccum actuator cable under the battery, but it didnt work because its in low range i guess. How do i physically shift it back to hi, then to 2wd? i dont have hundreds of dollars for a new module or anything, just need the truck to move from the parking spot. sounds like the axles will break if i try to drive it anywhere in 4wd. Additional info...when i first got the truck out of the waterhole it was in 4low, but the buttons said it was in 2hi. Yesterday i went outside to check the truck out, all 3 lights are on on the 4wd wsitch. The buttons dont make anything happen, not 2, hi, or low...also pushing 2 and 4hi together does nothing either. I think i fried the tccm for sure.
