Exclamation Tie Rod Manufacturer?

I need to replace the tie rods on my 1999 2wd Blazer LT (4 door) and was wondering if there is a preferred brand for my truck... I plan to do some upgrades in the future, but it will stay my daily driver, so i need something that will take abuse but is still reasonably priced. I need all three parts of the tie rod for both the driver's side and the passenger side...

Any recommendations? so far i'm thinking Moog, stock (Ordered from chevy), and TRW, but I'm not very familiar with tie rods or the brands that make them, so links would be appreciated too. Thanks!

I used to say moog, however a lot of there parts are being made in Mexico and the quality is not the same. I just rebuilt my front end and after hours of reading I decided to go with raybestos professional grade. They are made in America and have a lifetime warranty that covers the part and labor cost. With ball joints for example, hold a moog then hold a raybestos. Night and day in my opinion.

If done properly at home (taking measurements of the old tie rod adjustments), could i get away with installing the new tie rods on both sides without taking it in for an alignment?

That should get you close enough for awhile but if you have new tires I would get it aligned unless you don't mind premature tire wear
