17 ft. lbs. of torque for the upper ball joint bolts.
The stud nut requires 61 ft. lbs. for 1987-93 vehicles.

I am slightly surprised that the retaining bolts only require 17 pounds of torque, but thats what the book says.

What did you use to separate the ball joint?

I used a pickle fork, had to have my buddy bring one out to me since I was not at home. Nice and quiet drive now.. I seem to think the horrible roads around minneapolis had a bit of effort in this balljoint giving out. often feels like driving over train tracks not at the railroad crossing... for 20 miles

Thanks for the help btw
