ok i am new to working on suspension on trucks. I broke my lower control arm and just recently tried to put a new one on. the new control arm when i attached it to the torsion bar would not line up properly. the control arm was either pointing slightly up or straight down. i know neother of those are right so what do i do? is there a way to turn the torsion bar? and which way would i turn it? i am so confused sorry about this newb question. thanks so much

Hello,

Having the same problem right now.

Did you ever figure it out? I could use the help.

With the front end on jack stands and the control arm at full droop and the torsion bar
Adjuster removed, the torsion bar should just slip into the control arm, then reinstall all adjusting parts and key, reassemble the knuckle assb. Tighten the adjuster bolt about
5 revolutions as a starting point, put tire on lower to the ground and fine tune height....
I have done this multiple times with no issues..
Hope it helps
