Wonder if my 95 has the trans temp sensor? I've been planning on adding an a pillar guage pod, one of the things I want to monitor is trans temp. Be cool to somehow tap into it for the guage.

Also, I've got powerstop brakes at all four corners of my Cobalt. They work fine, but I haven't really noticed any increases in braking capability. I'm not towing, or doing autocross with it, though, so who knows

Ok, here's what I've done given the suggestions so far:

- I never tow in OD, so good there.
- Ordered new shoes for the rear
- Slotted/drilled rotors for the front with "carbon-ceramic" pads all from Power Stop
- Ordered an auxillary transmission cooler rated for a load of 10,000lbs
- Ordered Moog shackles and bushings for the leaf springs

For the future:
- Add trans temp gauge. I will probably run a traditional one from the test port on the tranny, as i wasn't successful in pulling data on my '97
- Add electric brakes to the trailer

Also, over the winter/spring I replaced old worn inner and outer tie rod ends and sleeves, ball joints all around, idler arm, pitamn arm, and power steering gear. All good Moog stuff.

Feels like a pretty good list so far, but I'm open to any other suggestions and thoughts.

For what it's worth, I put helper spring/ ad a leafs on the rear my blazer also has 4 wheel disc brakes. I have towed way more weight than anyone should sanely tow with a blazer including a 33 ft Airstream camper trailer, an 18 ft equipment trailer with an 8n tractor on it and I've flat towed an 11,000 lb RV. I find 3rd gear and twice the stopping/ starting distance you think you need is key. Never towed more than 2000 lbs over any real distance. A properly balanced trailer is essential with our shorter wheel base trucks.
