Default Transfer Case took a Poo-Poo

So I was driving down the road the other, day in 2 wheel drive of course, and out of nowhere, BAM! an outrageously loud grinding noise from under under the truck... It stopped when i pulled off of the road and stopped rolling. So I decided to shift through the gears (auto trans.) and it shifted and engaged in reverse neutral and drive. At that point I decided to take it for a quick spin and payed attention to the shifting of the trans... seemed fine.... Finally got her home, jacked up the rear and placed it on jack stands, started and placed in drive, got out and found the grinding to be comng from the transfer case...Needless to say, I'm in the process of a T-case swap.... Got a late start on it today, but it doesnt look to be too bad of a job.... wish me luck, and I'll try and snap some pix!

Did you get the new transfer case in?

Any tips or tricks for removal/install? Any pics?

Thanks!
