I have a 2004 jimmy, 2dr 4x4. A couple days ago, a moaning kind of noise was happening. Ive only noticed it at slower speed (around 30-50km/h) it is pretty inconsistant doesnt happen all the time. doesnt matter if im turning or going straight, just once in awhile it howls/moans. Has anyone else experienced this, or know what it is. Just bought the truck last friday, so it's pissing me off that i have issues already.

 

I called the dealership and they are gonna diagnose and fix it, as well as the brakes, and a slight vibration on the highway at 110-130 km/h.( i got new tires and they were balanced)I hope they get it the first try and I don't have to bring it back again.

 

i have a whine in mine too mines the a.c. compressor clutch when not engaged it sometimes slips and spins but when engaged it locks and spins like its supposed to but when disengaged not in use it stops but then when i hear the whine i know its slipping
