Will this g80 work??

Found this deal on Craigslist, i have a 2000 4 door blazer, is this interchangable or can i just take the g80 out of it?

Also how do you tell what gears your rear end has i.e 3.42 or 3.73???

Where are the RPO codes? I hope thats not the glovebox codes because those are all scratched off by the previous owner.. =/

you can also find out by calling your local dealer and giving them the Vin

You can determine what gears you have by following the procedure below:

Alternatively, you could take your VIN to the dealer & they can print you out the RPO list for your vehicle. There used to be a web reference (compnine.com), but they closed their doors...
